He got hit a lot with jabs and power punches by Golovkin. I know you are one if those "jabs don't count" guys but quite a few of those shots snapped Canelo's head back when he wasn't ready for them. That does damage. Pavlik said in an interview with Joe Rogan that it might have taken something out of him. Those aren't bad numbers. Don't forget he also took some punishment from Jacobs including one really crushing punch.

I am a GGG fan and BJS fan and I want GGG to fight someone of note to earn another Canelo fight.
Canelo is the man at the moment ( can’t stand the ****er or maybe it is DLH I can’t stand with his crap) but I do think he should make GGG work for another shot.
Don’t agree with the results of the fights but hey ho it is boxing and life .
And I do think Canelo will beat GGG in a third fight the most convincing just to wash the other 2 away.
And I am a GGG fan.
But my BJS would beat them both.

3G is making a mistake chasing nelo. Canelo wont be 3G legacy. At this point id fight andrade, say F canelo, move up and take smith. Then call out nelo to unify at 168... in that process he never becomes undisputed at 160 but not many guys in any weight class can say they touched all 4(5 in his case ibo) and he becomes a 2 division champion against and interesting foil in smith... if canelo doesnt bite hold ibf hostage.
