He needs to focus on his fight, Joshua's name has dominate his own fight that is coming up. He shouldn't make the same mistake that Joshua made, if they ask him about Joshua or Wilder, he doesn't have to answer those questions. He should be smarter than that by now.

McCracken won't tell Joshua he's doing good when he's not, that man's far more likely to read the riot act than put an arm around a shoulder. If he's the only one doing so then there's a problem with the set up. No matter how well (or not) Joshua does in training, the entire coaching team must demand more. The only person that needs to be arse kissing is Hearn as that's what promoters do with their top fighters, everyone else needs to demand 100% effort and strive for perfection every time without fail.
I get the feeling that the back-room staff have been selected by Joshua and/or Hearn, which would be where the errors are. Hearn's just a businessman and Joshua says himself that he is still a student of the game. McCracken is the man with the professional know-how, he needs to be the one to select all the training team and keep a rein on them - It works in most other sports, so why not boxing?
