This fight will struggle to sell, but Fury's signing is a long play type of move. Will see it come to fruition with the Wilder rematch in early 2020.
Okay but Bob is saying this fight is gonna get more subs for ESPN+ than the UFC. This card ain't sh^t. This card ain't getting anyone to sub to ESPN+.

Maybe it works out long term, maybe it doesn't, but right now nothing is happening & Bob is bsing beyond his pay grade with this sorta nonsense which I wouldn't even think is possible usually.

To me beat Wilder or not Fury's ceiling in the US market is low. The US fans aren't foreigner friendly. And they definitely aren't friendly to a HW who looks like he could be Chris Mannix's dad & doesn't instill excitement with crazy KO's. Plus Fury is like a UK hillbilly long lost Klitschko triplet for being in entertaining fights.

I think he'll beat anyone in the division on his best day, but he's not getting US fans excited & only hardcores will appreciate what he does.

Well, of course. No one buys Arum's statement that Fury attracts more subscribers than the UFC...We all know that is a bunch of BS. Once the UFC got on ESPN+, they have been killing it and ESPN started to release some numbers instantly.

But I think there is a market for Fury in America. I thought he had great momentum after the Wilder fight as he definitely won the night even if he didn't get the decision he wanted. And then we get the Schwarz fight six months later lol.

Fury is like a matador. People don't really pay to see the matador, they pay to see the bull. They cheer when the matador masterfully avoids the bull, but get more excited if the bull wins.

Schwartz is no bull and no one wants to see a matador versus outmatched cows.

I think fans got an interest in fun fights. Fury isn't a guy who's fun fight friendly. What made the Wilder fight fun was mostly seeing if Wilder could catch & KO Fury. No one is showing up for Fury as the HW champion of the world who's gonna outbox everyone. We had this with Klitschko already & no one was into it & Klitschko was a much more HW champion looking, Olympic Gold medalist, sellable product.

I see very lil chance of Fury being big in the US. Its possible obviously, but its not very probable & even if they achieve it Fury might say some anti-gay sh^t & blow it up midstream anyway. The guy is an incredible boxer, but he's a loose wire who's not casual fan friendly.

The only way I really see Fury becoming a draw as a guy outboxing mfers & who's prone to saying f#cked up un-PC sh^t is the same way everyone else has. By being the bad guy & Arum isn't the guy who's promoting bad guys. Bud got shot in the f#cking head & gots b^tches fighting over him at strip malls & Arum is promoting him as the family man to under 100k or w/e fans buying his PPV. Bob is so mfing out of the loop with this Fury thing I can't believe Bob Jr let him pull the trigger on it. Maybe Bob Jr is hoping Bob passes & they can make Tyson into a bad guy who'll people will come to see get beat. But he's no George Foreman like Bob keeps mentioning.

I tried ESPN+ for one fight....it was impossible to stream, wrong date and wrong time.

Im not watching Fury in any fight where he has zero chance of getting ko'd. He isnt fan friendly....unless he gets up from a brutal knockdown.

Fury kinda reminds me of McGregor. If they move him right I think he can have a similar appeal. Unlike Connor Fury is actually kinda funny & likeable. As far as sh-t talking goes they're even

Imagine those two goin back & forth lol
