It was just one of those nights where the favourite just was not up for it and the underdog was hungry as hell, it happens sometimes. Sometimes it's down to a poor camp, sometimes underestimating what's in front of you, sometimes overlooking due to the next challenge. Personally; I think the timing of the 2 Wilder announcements during fight week just ****** all of the enthusiasm out of Joshua and on fight night he was thinking, "What's the point in all of this"?
I see the rematch going the way of Lewis-Rahman II, but wouldn't be hugely surprised if it's repeat either; as bad as Joshua was on the night, if Ruiz can fight like HE did that night every time then the face of the division could be a like-able, chubby, Mexican bloke for a while.
