You sure about that buddy as the Haymon henchman on here seem adamant they know best about it
Seems unlikely, but i'm rolling the dice on that one yes.

Wilder was a champion, not a challenger.

Why do you assume Andre Ward signed the same rematch clause as Ruiz?

I think it's safe to say Eddie Hearn knows the details.

You guys do realize Ruiz has to get what he wants or he just waits out the clause for 1 year and it’s null and void.

Ruiz has all the power here.

Eddie Hearn is John Skipper's errant boy. Skipper wants the fight in the USA/Mexico at the normal PPV times.

Haymon, Skipper(DAZN), and Ruiz want PPV in the America's (Vegas,Mexico City). Because is equals more money for the purse.

AJ, Hearn want the UK because they want to get back the belts at all cost. AJs biggest claim to fame is thay he has the most belts. The UK fans bought into the scheme but who is to say that they are gonna stay on the bandwagon with another bad performance.

Why would a network tie themselves down with AJ when Ruiz, Wilder, and even Fury have potential to be bigger stars that AJ at this point. He has to destroy Ruiz and either beat Wilder or Fury to regain his status as the best even in his own fans minds.

Had he taken on Wilder earlier there wouldnt be any shame in losing a fight and a rematch and he could have still been considered the 2nd best of his era. He very well may gone on to do so.

But had he beat Wilder he would have automatically been considered a top 3 Hwy of All Time by his fans. A fight with Fury or anyone else would have been on his terms.

Now with the loss to Ruiz, AJ/Hearn cant muscle their way around with Haymon/Ruiz because both parites have something to bring to the table in a rematch. Skipper is the trump card who may want to woo Ruiz to DAZN so he can have a Mexican one two punch of Canelo and Ruiz on his network sometime in the future.

Even beating Ruiz inst going to make him top dog vs Wilder or Fury in any situation. The loser of that fight stiil has more clout than anyone who has lost to Ruiz at this point. And there is still no guarantee the Ruiz/AJ rematch even happens.

Im done listening to Hearn because Skipper is the person who is signing the purse checks at DAZN. With this rematch being a big deal we could see Hearn getting kicked out af negotiations AGAIN and AJ/Ruiz/Skipper/Haymond coming up with a deal.

The fight happens in Vegas and not Mexico with 120K Mexicans screaming for AJs blood like an Aztec sacrifice. Im sure some how a REAL blood moon could be worked into the Ruiz into but I think thats why was saying he wants 50mto fight in the UK. 80K drunk angry Brits who are pissy mad and pissy drunk because you slapped down their Superhero/model isnt going to be a friendly environment either.

Ruiz coming out the UK with those belts is going to be akin to an Indiana Jones gauntlet like movie except in this case the hero is fat and his signature isnt a hat its a Snickers bar and the evil baddy seems to be Hearn with AJ as the muscle henchman who could turn good once he is free from his evil spell the baddy Hearn as cast on him. AJ isnt a bad dude and if someone else except Hearn (even Arum) was promoting him he wouldnt have a good portion of the US and now Mexican fanbase rooting against him.

So Vegas will be a good compromise because its the best place for the UK fans to invade (no NYC PTSD) and the new Ruiz Mexican bandwagon (it used to carry lawn equipment) fans to meet up and scrap.
