What's left for canelo to prove with this ggg. He beat him twice and there's no way there will be a different result with a third fight.
If rolls can hit ggg so cleanly them I think at this point in his career ggg is starting to see a significant decline in his skillset. This is why he seems desperate to hey the fight as soon as possible before dazn makes ggg fight canelo later just to get their Monies worth. At that point it will be a guaranteed DESTRUCTION of ggg.

His fatal flaw is the way he ducks, and leaves the side of his head unguarded. It was only a matter of time before Golovkin got the KO. He caught GGG with some really nice shots that would hurt most people and may even have KOd them. Unfortunately for him Golovkin has a chin of granite and just keeps waking you down.
Rolls is 35 and fought a guy with an 8-4 record as recently as 2017.

If GGG is old and is easy job to Canelo, and with no other boxer he is going to sell more....Why De La Hoya do not want the 3rd fight now?
GGG still be a dangerous opponent to Canelo....

GGG is 37 and he needs another big payday before retirement. I completely get why he would want a 3rd right. That’s the most lucrative fight out there for him right now. But unfortunately like Oscar said, they will make him wait for it. Canelo is in the drivers seat right now. He has so many options, Andrade, Charlo, another Jacobs fight if he wants it, Callum Smith, Saunders, Benavidez if he keeps winning. Canelo could even go up to light heavy weight 1 day and fight one of them at a catch weight for another belt. He is still young enough. Take a # GGG and wait in line if Canelo keeps winning. You may not get another shot at Canelo.

That Canadian uber driver was giving GGG real work. He was landing flush power shots on GGG very cleanly, a guy of his caliber should not be landing on a p4p guy that easily. Could you imagine Rolls landing full power right hands like that on Canelo? Not in a million years. Even more concerning is that Rolls is 35 himself, no spring chicken, its not like he was some up and coming young guy taking on 37 year old GGG, his reflexes even at the uber driver level were not what they were when he was younger either.

You can deny some things but can't deny Golovkin gave Canelo his toughest fights.
75% at ring side had Golovkin winning the 1st fight. The rematch was held up because Canelo tested for PEDs...that's not opinion. Fight II was so, so close that 50% had it either a draw or GGG winning.
It's a great fight and the new trainer gives it a new wrinkle. The real question is why wouldn't you want to see it?
