I doubt there’s many people still alive now who seen Ray live, You’re going back at least 60 years and 70+ years to have seen him at his peak.

I’ve only ever met one person in my life who saw Ray Robinson live, it was a fella who ran a pub in Kirkdale, he had a program from the Robinson-Turpin fight in the 50’s at Earl’s Court, I asked him about it and he told me he went to the fight. Could have been blagging but he seemed genuine. That was like 15 years ago though, I doubt he’s even still alive now tbh.

I really doubt we would have anyone who has seen him live, especially not in his prime anyways. It would have been lovely to hear anyone who has, especially when he was in his prime years, just to hear how great he was. Didn't he retire in his mid-40s? Which would make any potential candidate for the treat to be at least 65 years old and be into boxing in their early years...But great question anyways, would be nice to hear this from social media not just on NSB as i doubt anyone would have.
