      I don't even understand why they're putting all their eggs in the Canelo basket.
      Where did the GGG star power go?
      Will he continue to leech off on the Mexican supertar's popularity?
      Can't he make his own music and fight guys like Charlo, Brant, etc.?

          GGG: "All I care about is my belt, Canelo is a businessman. Give me my belt.

          GGG after loss to Canelo: "I'm a businessman, pay me"

            You would think Alvarez ("This is my era") after two controversial decisions, would want to show he can beat Golovkin convincingly.
            It's definitely the biggest fight for Alvarez in terms of fan interest and at this point would mean the most for his rep.
            Alvarez is in his prime and he did better in the second fight with Golovkin. There's really no reason to duck Golovkin unless he has a fight lined up with Callum Smith for September.

              Actually, Canelo’s sudden interest in belt collecting is bulls.hit to anyone that’s unbiased and has an ounce of boxing IQ. Andrade doesn’t have a single win over a relevant MW. So exactly how is credible for the so called kingpin of the division to be seeking out a fighter with no wins over even a top ten guy in the division?

              Canelo is supposedly “the man” at MW. Explain to me how beating some guy without a win over a top ten MW is bigger for Canelo than beating the biggest threat to Canelo’s claim of being the MW kingpin? Who BTW a large percentage of fans think has beaten Canelo twice. I don’t necessarily agree with them. But there’s no dis*****g that Canelo has yet to have a convincing win over GGG. Getting that will be a helluva lot bigger deal in terms of his legacy than collecting bulls.hit belts that novice fans put importance on.

                Their only rationale for wanting 50/50 vs. Canelo was the titles. Now that Canelo relieved GGG of that burden suddenly the belts don’t matter.
                Sorry BBB side, the only value you brought last time was the titles. Canelo has nothing to prove against him. His titles, legacy, and 0 sit on Canelo’s mantle.
                Show your a true champion and fight Andrade and earn that third ass whipping.

                    Just imagine if the situation was reversed and Golovkin was saying Alvarez had to get a belt before they could fight a third time. Man, think of the hate GGG would be getting. What a joke.

                      imagine if (other than Jacobs) Canelo hand-picked these opponents...

                      * an unknown no-hoper who was on house arrest
                      * a largely unknown welterweight
                      * an inactive mid-level JMW
                      * an unknown no-hoper

                      ..... and then yesterday, said this.....
                      " other boxers are not interested in facing the best"
