How did you come to that conclusion? Or did you made that up yourself?

If AJ wins the re-match, Wilder-Joshua is a big fight. If AJ loses, Ruiz-Wilder is a big fight. Whoever the opponent is, a unification fight is going to be a big fight.

The question is will Wilder get the kind of money Hearn/DAZN have been offering?
Let's just admit the AJ vs Wilder didn't happen because of GREED.
No huge amount of money made Wilder convinced to take the AJ fight.
And based on PBC/Haymon's way of doing business in this sport,
Ruiz vs Wilder will not happen anytime soon.

So will Showtime continue to overspend and give Wilder more than they can afford just to show they can outspend DAZN?

I bet this won't be the last time we see Joshua get clipped in a fight.

His opponents will be brimming with confidence from now on.

Needless to say a lot of his old opponents are probably praying for a rematch.

I could see Parker or Povetkin beating him if they ever fight again.
Joshua has been clipped in many fights and by bigger punchers than Ruiz. Ruiz just landed on the right spot.

Never say never. It doesn't take long for things to change in this game.

If Wilder had taken the DAZN deal where would he be now? Sitting around waiting for the Ruiz-Joshua rematch to happen with no attractive opponents.

By staying a free agent he at least has access to a potential Tyson Fury rematch in the meantime.

              He did the right thing.

Wilder would have still had options to fight Parker Usyk Whyte Zhang etc. Bit ott to suggest no options would have been available! Doing rematches puts him not better position than facing a couple of those options anyway

DAZN fans are hilarious. Usyk? Whyte is not even signed to DAZN. Those are NO options. He not fighting any of those irrelevant fighters
