Gabe Montoya: No VADA testing for Fury-Schwarz

According to boxingscene favorite PED crusader there will be no testing. Why Wilder and his team would waste their time with this cheater is beyond me. He should be pulled from all rankings if you ask me. He got away with not enrolling in the Wilder fight and now he’s not doing any testing. Technically he should not have even been allowed in the rankings.

When your entire stable including your cousin and best friend gets popped for cheating you should be under stricter regulations. Seems these issues with a Fury keep going under the radar. His record still
hasn’t be updated despite being disqualified.

If he beats Schwarz put an asterisk by his win.

Not surprising, Fury is a PED cheat, lucky for him Wilder doesn't care and signed the rematch already.

He's in the VADA CBP or he wouldn't be ranked by the WBC.

Are you saying that Gabe Montoya is lying?

Montoya is talking about the extra testing some fighters choose to pay for.

That is both amazing and incredible because Fury is ranked among the WBC's top 15 fighters in the world and is currently enrolled in the VADA clean boxing program. It's a non-title bout but this is not a good look for the sport at all. VADA testing has now become protocol for all boxing bouts.

There are two types of VADA testing. One is the WBC's sanctioned 24/7 365 days of year VADA-Clean Boxing Program for those fighters who are ranked among the WBC's top 15 fighters in the world.

Then there is the one that AJ does; Which is to sign up for it only during training camps. Similarly, to what Money Mayweather use to do with USADA. He never did the 365 days of year 24/7 Anti-doping testing protocol either. He only signed up for it during his training camps.

The 24/7/365 VADA testing didn't exist when Matyweather was still fighting.
