You could see he was seething and incredibly bothered by his loss in his body language after the fight and was keeping his cool and keeping it classy. He handled it like a man. There’s a rematch and he was knocked down 4 times and then stopped . What’s he supposed to say? He got him and he’ll see him again. Anything less becoming of him and he’d be ridiculed, especially considering the beef with his top fellow HWs.

It’s embarrassing especially considering how he was out saying he can’t help look past. This is undoubtedly an incredibly humbling experience especially losing to a young hungry fighter who wanted everything AJ had. Aj is a proud dude, every man with the mettle to rise to those heights is. no doubt hes devastated and incredibly disappointed but I bet he’d also hate to give people the satisfaction of seeing him blow up.

He's been classy in defeat. No excuses, gave Ruiz his credit.

I've seen people say he seems to be taking it too well, as if he's ok with losing. But I'm sure his feelings on the inside are very different from that particular narrative.

I'm just wondering how he'll take the second loss to Ruiz? Retirement? It's not like he needs the money.

Boxing fans are funny. we all are.

We hate people making excuses, but when someone doesn't make excuses we hate that too.
