You are sounding ignorant too. John may or may not be half Mexican, may have represented Puerto Rico but was the 1st Latino HW champ. Andy is the 1st of Mexican descent just like Cris Arreola almost was, even though both were born in the US and not Mexico were most people donīt know who Andy was until his last fight. There is no such thing as Mexican blood. You can also claim a community like Swift Garcia claims the Puerto Ricans from the East coast since no one in Puerto Rico knows him or considers him a Rican. In the end itīs all about who you wish to claim and wea re all Latino.

Because he once fought in Mexico, he wor them in that fight. He is also Latino and can be proud of other countries or nationalities that are a staple in the sport. Just like a Mexican can wear the jersey of the Argentinean national soccer team....

You are ******ed I never said Ruiz wasn't the first Latino champ I have been watching boxing longer than you I know who John Ruiz is and I know hes not Mexican hes Puerto Rican his mother still lives in PR I have also been watching Andy fight for more than 6 years you dont know **** about boxing you always come and try to give your opinion but you end up sounding like an idiot even since way back when you used to comment on my **** and I had to put you in your place I was responding to the idiot claiming John Ruiz was the first MEXICAN heavyweight champion I don't get what point you are trying to prove yeah man cause a Afro-Colombian is the same as a mestizo Mexican you don't even know what you are talking about, everyone is Latino yes but culturally they are very different from the food to the dialect to the ancestry and so forth learn a bit first before trying to sound educated. Miguel Cotto was born on the mainland US but they still consider him Puerto Rican why is Danny Garcia any different in the end they are all US Citizens so that statement is irrelevant.

Everyone is now a little more ****** from reading this **** John Ruiz did not wear any Mexican flag on his trunks when he fought Jameel McCline which was one of the worst heavyweight fights I have ever seen maybe in another fight but not in Mexico and that was the only fight he had there I thought you were a boxing expert bro
