Don’t use the Mayweather excuse. This kid talks so much garbage on Twitter and the Gram. They are both culpable. As well as Ellerbe.

All the people crying and saying Davis is a bum. Nah, you know he's a special boxer, a mean fighter. That's why you are angry. You must rate him very highly if someone of similar KO record to him, with more experience, is of no challenge to him. I agree with you there.

I know nothing I can remember of Nunez. I might have seen him a couple of times before. I'll watch some of his fights and report back before the fight.

Everyone has an Andy Ruiz chance!

Any Nunez fans here who can enlighten the board?

I think more people will be watching Davis-Nunez, instead of that second grade "unification" bout. Davis is much better than Prograis and that UK guy, by miles.

If I had my choice, I'd want to see Davis-Prograis NOW. Easy work for Davis.

Ruiz will be fighting on DAZN the way Jacobs did. Pbc is dead.

I expect to see Gamboa on the undercard. They're paying Gamboa well and I can't imagine they signed him for any other reason than to be fed to Tank.

I don't think Davis will ever fight Gamboa. As soon as it was suggested, we crapped on it here. That will never happen and hopefully not. Gamboa is way past it. Gamboa was originally considered and the main candidate for July 27.

I'm guessing here: They thought, since Gamboa is not acceptable, and Davis is a little fat, might as well defend the BS belt against an easy opponent. Things can go wrong, though, underestimating the underdog.

Miguel Berchelt is an easy work for Davis. Even the Mexican Puppet, who knows his boxing, agrees. Davis is the champ at 130.
