All the *****ing and whining about Loma and Berchelt...just get over it. TR and Golden Boy aren't going to cross over Showtime. PBC allowed Jacobs to go to DAZN, Alvarez to go to ESPN, Khan to go to DAZN and Ruiz to go to DAZN, but he isn't going to let Tank or Spence to ESPN or DAZN. That's the reality. If Arum really wanted Loma to fight Tank, he'd let it happen on Showtime like he did with Loma vs. Russell.
Some dudes on here apparently believe it is their righteous and social duty to whine, beetch, and complain, about the fights that get made or are at least presented on television. They feel "obligated" to do so, believing their efforts on BoxingScene.com will literally influence promoters, managers, and networks to make the fights that fans want. Apparently NSB is a powerful gateway to effect change within professional sports, that the "powers that be" are soon to be aware of.

While I do think it's important to take stands against real social injustice, and to recognize bona-fide corruption when it happens, I don't think "boxing matchups" qualifies as a legitimate social injustice, to launch "smear campaigns" against. It's more along the lines of, "I wanted to like your product. Your product is not worth the money to me anymore, so I'm not going to buy it anymore". End of story.

The complainers don't have an actual game plan or "end goal" in mind, like organizing a boycott or letter writing campaigns. The "injustice" thing is really just an excuse to complain. It's more likely that they just like to beetch and sound superior. NO boxing promoter is reading or listening to this forum.

That said, as long as they are not crossing any harassment, oppression, or obscenity lines, I suppose they are free to complain as much as they like. All we can do is avoid those discussions or tune out. I've learned I can't change or control people, and they have the right to complain.
Of course you have every right to complain about complaining, or advise them to "get over it". I'm just sharing that I did that, and I got an "earful" about how the paying fans are being conned, ripped off, and all that. The justification is, if they don't complain on NSB, it will keep happening and nothing will change.
But I get it, we don't always get the fights we want, and the fans are smart.

    Peace.
