UK fighters like Benn, Eubank, Bruno and McGuigan became household names and millionaires from the ad money and license fees paid for their fights.Comment
Yeah, I shut off DAZN and found a free stream too. Better video quality, no buffering issues
really?
that's pathetic if that's true. dazn ought to be ****ing ashamed.
i've had loading issues with catalogued fights that made them unwatchable, but never with a live event. i'd be pissed.Comment

Yup most of the streams came from countries DAZN is not in or from YouTube channels that posted a replay of the fight after it was over violating copyright. YouTube shuts them down 1 by 1 but takes hours or even a day before they find them all lol
Paying almost 100 bucks for 1 fight is not sustainable in today's technology when you can find a illegal stream, play wack a mole game after the fight and try and find a replay video before it gets shut down or subscribe and legally watch fights for fraction. All better options then forking over huge PPV prices.Comment

This is the way forward streaming everything especially in countries like Nigeria, If you are stuck on normal TV you are stuck behind the real world. Smart TV has everything these days. Probably North Korea would even have smart TV for streaming soon enough.Comment

Fans in Nigeria and Kenya put in work for this fight!
Now the question is does Joshua fight in Nigeria or somewhere in Africa before his career is finished?Comment

Am sure Joshua would probably fight in Africa one day, I heard he is massive over there, and him with his “Black superior” race thing would want to do that as well.Comment

Wow! 13 mil? That's an insane number! It comes to show that it's not necessarily people tuning away from the product but are not willing to shell out the cash for it. But I'm surprised because like some of you said, DAZN was supposed to reduce this or at least work as a deterrent for people. Why? Because for a fraction of a PPV price tag, fans are being encouraged to get the big fight and plus more. The hardcore boxing fan would benefit more from getting the yearly plan which is just above the regular PPV price. But even then people aren't willing to pay up lol. I'm wondering if anything will ever deter illegal streaming. You'd think DAZN out of all of the networks would effectively cut back on this. But hey, in all honesty I've streamed the PPV's too but I got DAZN so not this one lolComment

He should fight in Africa before he calls it quits. It will be a massive event there.Comment
