While I maintain that Charlo should get the Canelo shot due to his mandatory status, and while I agree with those who say that Canelo and GGG are ducking Charlo, I happen to also agree with your assessment that Canelo is building his legacy with the GGG fights, the Jacobs fight, and the potential Andrade unification for undisputed status while Charlo is stuck in no man's land doing nothing.

Jacobs called him out a couple of fights back and he went straight into hiding afterwards, he just had a tough fight with Koborov and refused to entertain a rematch to properly settle the score. He's fighting bums while Canelo is unifying titles.

We also know that he ain't gonna call out Andrade either because he is totally trash against southpaws despite having Lara as a sparring partner.

He kinda deserves the shot because well, he is the mandatory, but also kinda doesn't because he ain't doing enough to "earn" the shot.

This is kinda like the Amir Khan/Keith Thurman situation where they claim Floyd ducked them and yet Floyd was unifying titles across two divisions while they were busy fighting no hopers at the time and basically doing nothing to "earn" the sweepstakes.

I would have suggested Charlo fight across two divisions like Canelo is doing, fight at both 168 and 160, maybe he can get some of the 168 champions to fight him but obviously not BJ Saunders coz let's face it, Charlo ain't beating a slick southpaw of that Calibre. But he can totally beat the other champions and maybe raise his profile enough for Canelo to fight him, coz the wbc aint gonna so jack let's face it

Jacob's looked bad in his 2 fights b4 Canelo and it still led to a close fight despite Jacob's taking the 1st half off. How is that pushing himself? Also, didn't Charlo call out Jacob's and say we can cancel our next fight and fight each other when Jacob's approach him talking about I'm making Ms?

Why doesn't he rematch Korobov first?

That fight took away all his hype. It's unfinished business. I really doubt Canelo fights him when he couldn't beat guys on his way to the title shot without controversy. Solve that first, then call out Canelo. I don't feel like you deserve it right now

It's a good fight, and as for Jacobs, he is not a top 3 middleweight based on his last few performances, definitely not.
