Come on Toney, Nelo was NOT his fight back then. Jermall told Jacobs to scrap his weak fight so they can fight BUT as you KNOW Jacobs started talking M's cuz he DIDNT want the fight.

Jacobs was going after Canelo it was plain that was his preferred opponent. That's where the money was and the belts. Jacobs did the right thing for his financial future. Even if he beat Charlo what then? Canelo could have something else lined up and a potential fight could be put off for another year at least. Beating Canelo gives him a a big payday, a lucrative rematch and another big payday against Golovkin if he won.

He didn't fight Jermall cuz Jermall was a risk that would of stopped him from getting Nelo.

My particular order for Canelo

1. Andrade (Go for all belts then drop some so we don’t get Sergiy next). - Sept.

2. Spence Cinco De Mayo at Jerry World.

3. Charlo in Houston or Mexico.

4. Smith in Vegas or UK.

5. GGG but by then not really.

6. Zurdo in Mexico

By then time to retire after winning or loses as an ATG from 2010 era who fought them all ....

These fighters need to free up a few month around May and Sept. if they want real shots at Canelo.

Andrade probably won’t be ready in Sept. as I expect his fight to be a tough 12 round close decision.

Charlo should be able to stop Adams? But who knows for sure???

GGG normally would Ko Rolls in 2-3 rounds but probably won’t because he needs rounds with new training. So expect it to last around 6.

Smith will be ready since he just smashed Jikam.
