Just pick the opposite of who Robbie picks and you're guaranteed to make profit.

To be honest most fans don’t realize as champ Hearn puts in the strictest and most beneficial language legally possible to benefit AJ of course Andy signed wanted the shot bad.

The champ better have a good contract lawyer then. Seems very unlikely the terms were not addressed in the rematch clause.

Don King was brutal would put in language in automatic rematch clause where he would get options to act as your promoter for your next few fights

Lol. These Joshua guys kill me. I "get" it! National pride, but Wilder would knock him cold similar to the Breazeale fight! How on earth can anyone claim that Joshua was ducked. Even a guy like Kownacki would starch his arse!

Ruiz is talking nonsense...he has a rematch clause so whatever is in it has to be respected.

Hearn did say that Ruiz will get more money in the rematch as per the clause but other than that location, date, times is up to Team Joshua because they gave Ruiz the optional defense in the first place, he wasn't a mandatory.

Ruiz has to talk to Haymon and co. to make sure that everything agreed to in the rematch clause is being honored but he can't just all of a sudden makes changes because he's champion now but didn't have concerns prior to signing the rematch contract before the bout.

I like Ruiz but until he beat Joshua again, he's still considered the B-side....just like when Saul Alvarez fought Rocky Fielding, even though Fielding had a belt, he was the B-side to Alvarez.

Andy needs to charge them by the pound. We all know the Hearn siren song. Less is best, mo money later. Go over there Andy. Do it again in his foster home.

Honestly shocked by some posters, like do you not understand what a contract is?

The negotiations have taken place, before they signed the contract with the rematch clause, they have agreed to them already. People are talking like they are negotiations splits or fees, what on earth do you think would be in the rematch clause, seriously? There was no 2 way rematch clause, the entire contents was dictating what would happen if Ruiz won, which he did, how can anyone think the rematch clause wouldn't cover money, location & time frame is beyond me.

Seriously, what good would a rematch clause be if it didn't include splits or flat fees, the loser triggers the clause, the winner just demands 100% or $100M or whatever is impossible and the clause is completely worthless, I mean use your head a little.

Anthony Joshua needs the fight more then Andy Ruiz , so now is the time to get The Mexican Heavyweight Champion paid!
Didn't you know everything was already agreed to in the first contract and Ruiz has no say whatsoever in the rematch? Not even the venue or network?

                    Read Robbie Barrett's posts above.

Have a think about what you are suggesting for a minute, seriously.

                      In your world:
Loser can exercise the rematch but can't dictate anything else.

                      Money: Winner dictates $500M
Timeframe: Winner dictates in 20 years.

The rematch clause would be absolutely worthless and not enforceable at all. Is this how you think contracts work, you think lawyers would just miss this type of thing, really?
