I actually wouldn't be surprised if Ruiz v Joshua is the biggest HW fight of the year, Mexicans & UK support their fighters. The casual fan is the mass market and they love an underdog and a come back story so it could well catch fire with the general public.
I think it's almost guaranteed he'll make more money than Wilder.

    This fight is huge.

Why do you groupies care about who makes more money? Pathetic really. You watched your boy QUIT and you’re all calling it a business move lmfao

Agree. It will probably be 2 or 2.5x the size of the first fight.

AJ already made huge $$ in the first fight (and Ruiz) and the good thing is that Ruiz Jr will probably double or triple his money as well.

Looking at everything in detail, the more I think could the fix have been in?

Dazn are making a killing with the whole "first Mexican " thing.

I suspect it'll be GGG again. And Canelo vs GGG has been among the biggest fight in boxing the last couple years. And it'll be the same again if it happens this year.

If Canelo does have a garbage fight I think we got a multiway tie for biggest fight of the year between a few fights more than Ruiz vs Joshua II is the biggest fight doe.
Of course I’ll watch but nobody is really clamoring to see the 3rd fight between canelo and ggg imo. Even oscar said if the demand is there then they will make it but now it’s not, Even tho that was said last year but I don’t think much has changed. It has been 24 rounds and no knock downs and no one has been seriously hurt in both bouts. At this point it is a good stay busy fight.

Canelo v GGG III could be bigger for sure. Despite what a pocket of Canelo fans say on here, the majority of people think GGG won both fights and want to see it again. That said, i think the second fight did less numbers than the first and i think that trend might continue. A lot of people get turned off knowing it’s not a level playing field.

I still think Ruiz v AJ II will be almost as big though out of sheer intrigue to see if Ruiz can do it again. Who knows, maybe that intrigue will make it bigger than GGG v Canelo.

Who are you talking about with the AJ groupies? Not me I hope.

I just think its kinda ironic that Wilder smashes his opponent and Joshua loses and yet he ends up getting more in his next fight.

I think the fight will be bigger than canelo vs ggg 3. The canelo/ggg fights was decent but there was no real drama in the fights besides people debating who won. No knock downs and no one was seriously hurt in the fights.

The Joshua and Ruiz fight had a round of the year candidate (round 3) drama throughout the fight and a huge upset. Also throw in AJ a major UK star And Ruiz the 1st Mexican heavy weight champ. The fight will be massive.

Groupies in general. The AJ fans that think it’s a good thing he lost because it’s better for his pocket. The ones who rather make it a conspiracy than give props to the impossible not to love Andy Ruiz

The rematch has to be held in the US. Further builds popularity.
No reason to take it to the UK.
