"The IBF mandatory is Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev, who actually had a tentative agreement in place to face Joshua in England had the previously unbeaten Brit prevailed on Saturday."
Wow so Hearn and AJ were barking that they wanted to fight Wilder next claiming Wilder was ducking, but the whole time they had an agreement to face Pulev in the UK...

So this means that Had Wilder signed the DAZN deal, he wouldn't get the AJ anyway. Wilder would be into the second fight of his contract by the time the Ruiz/AJ fight took place. And if AJ wins he would be obligated to fight Pulev then the WBO mando. Good move Wilder.

Similarly to this there'd have been able to avoid that just as in this situation. Unifications often trump madatories. Or a step aside fee.

The rematch is a bigger fight. Ruiz is now the Champ would only make sense he gets more this time around I'm sure they had % worked out ahead of for everybody's benefit. If not and it went to purse bids champ gets 60-40% for HW, right so if there was 30M in purses for the 1sr go that's like 18M or so right there for Ruiz. I figure he at least spit the pot this time and the over all purse would be bigger the 2nd go. Nobody seems to know what Ruiz made for the first fight. Figure Ruiz would make between 20M -30M. I mean AJ was payed minimum $25M to get KOed. $12m seems low considering what Joshua made and will make for these fights. Any way hope Ruiz does well he deserves it.

Ruiz can train at Taco bell and KO Joshua again in rematch. It worked the first time. If something ain't broke don't fix it.

Great news. I thought IBF would be a d*ck to Andy and make Pulev Vs Kabayel for the belt

I hope Andy can win again. I'm not against AJ, I like him as a boxer, but didn't like the way he/they handled his bouts.
