Nordine Oubaali now has a title challenger for which to truly prepare. The two-time Olympian from France is set for the first defense of his bantamweight title, as he will face Philippines' Arthur Villanueva. The bout was confirmed by Oubaali's MTK Global management team, as part of a previously announced July 6 ESPN+ show at Barys Arena in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

Surprisingly decent opponent for what is supposed to be a soft voluntary, but I guess if Oubaali can't beat him, he has no business in the ring against Naoya Inoue, not sure how good Takuma is yet though.

Depending on timing, surely Oubaali goes straight for unification with Naoya and skips the mando with Takuma, as thats the big fight for him (assuming they both win their next outings).
