The part where Warren talks about AJ not appearing devastated by the loss. Caught my eye as well. Something is not right there! He was way to gracious afterwards. Kind like he knows its over? like Hearn said he seemed relived the presser was off after the fight. Now its back on. AJ looked lost, literally seemed happy it was over. We'll see how bad he wants it.

I don't see anything unusual there - that is AJ all over. It's something he has been working on. You can also tell he is working on ignoring insults from Wilder and Fury. He's always talked about losing being inevitable in past interviews. He's def been working on his mental state. He really preps hard. Americans forget British people aren't naturally big and brash. British fighters always have poor US debuts - think of Fury, Hatton, Calzaghe, Naz. All got unexpectably beat up a bit or knocked down on their US debuts. This is why UK fighters should fight in the US earlier in their careers to get used to it.

Na, AJ is an Emanuel Stewart project. With Stewart being gone, Jonathan Banks is the closest replica. That’s who I would turn to if I were Team AJ.

That strikes me as the obvious move too. Banks trained under Steward and Banks/Steward dealt with a tall Heavyweight who had to impose his physical advantages while protecting a suspect chin.

Meantime that photo of Joshua before the fight with his 25 man team - what are they all doing ?

If Joshua wants to get back to where he was, he needs Banks and to skin his entourage back to what is needed, and I'd guess it would be an entire new team that stop telling him how great he is and put pressure on him in camp.

It was Wilder who spurned DAZN's $80million guarantee to fight AJ, not the other way round.!

And AJ wouldn't have banked that money by now because him losing his titles to Ruiz would have voided the deal.

It would obviously have been contingent on Wilder and AJ both winning their interim fights, with Breazeale and Ruiz, before facing each other.

I hate it when smart men like Warren try to take advantage of boxing's less intelligent fans like that.

Re Rob McCracken, I heard him telling AJ in between rounds to keep his punches long and straight and don't go for hooks, because when he did, he was getting caught by hooks from Ruiz. That was good advice, but AJ ignored it and kept breaking one of boxing's golden rules: "Never hook with a hooker" I don't see why McCracken should be blamed for that.

Not sure I agree. I wasn't fully aware AJ let Ruiz hold his belt before the fight, that's a bit odd, anyone remember something like that before happening. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, comes off as odd tho. Wondering if I saw a photo of himself holding thos belt before the fight, not sure. AJ seemed relived the fight was over. Yeah but he was just being nice to Ruiz. It wasn't an omen. If it was Miller - he wouldn't have let him.

I remember in AJ's Breakfast club interview - they were going "Why are you talking about losing? why are you saying you might lose? Is that so you have an excuse for when you lose to Wilder??" They couldn't understand that a boxer could be a realistic instead of an egotist. The times when AJ looks most awkward is when he's trying to play 'the man' like when he was calling Miller a b***h. Just didn't seem right. Like he wasn't being himself.

If Ruiz hadn't recovered from his knockdown and AJ had Ko'd him straight after - no one would be talking about all this stuff. Ruiz would have been just another "out-matched" opponent.

it remains to be seen if
joshua is cleared medically and then if so how he performs in the rematch.

it should be said that in the job description of heavyweight champion finding way to win is usually included not cracking under pressure. and joshua did fail in that respect after being regaled as this god for a few years.

i disagree with you on below:
