I think this fight would be better and more competetive than most of you think. I still say PBF wins, but not easily. Spinks is ultra skilled and ultra slick at slipping punches. Problem is he has no chin and would probably tire in the later rounds and get knocked out.

In a way for once your logically correct, however, you fail to mention that de la hoya is not the easy road by ANY means, and De La Hoya is 20 times what margarito could ever hope to be in fame/legacy/skill.

It's not that I have a problem with slick boxing styles and playing it safe when you are comfortably ahead. Straight up running is different and that is what Spinks did against Karmazin. Even if you want to get in and out like Wright against Taylor, I don't like it but I can understand it. Spinks simply took it to a whole different level. Spinks is like a Zab Judah clone (with less punching power) and we already saw what happened in a Mayweather-Judah fight

this was said endlessly in the judah/maweather fite and look what happend. we already know floyd is gonna win this win. its inevitable. floyd pulled a "Mayweather", u know picking a weaker oppenent to fite to better his record and make the world think hes the best P4p fiter.

I agree that the speed factor has already been explored at length during the build up to Judah. The only thing I want to add is that Spinks won't dominate the first 4 rounds like Zab. Zab has a much harder punch and is just a better fighter WHEN HE IS FOCUSED. Zab's problems are in the head (mental weakness and no chin) while Spinks' problems are much more numerous and skill based.
