Duran quit in shocking fashion. He wasn't getting physically beaten up, just mentally. This was way worse than what Joshua did.

Joshua quit because be was getting beat up both physically AND mentally. But it wasn't shocking; he isn't as macho as Duran and doesn't have that tough, street tough reputation. No one is shocked when a Brit HW walks to his corner after a knockdown like he could care less about his street cred...because he HAS NO street cred.

His commitment, not his greatness. You can't find me footage of a fighter better than Duran. Not consistently over a decade span.

The fight WAS close, even if it was clearly moving in Leonard's direction. A lot of fighters would've folded to Duran's early intensity. It's credit to Leonard that he hung in there. But Duran didn't lose that fight in the ring. He lost that fight when he decided he was entering the ring for the rematch to take a victory lap. Considering how he pelted Leonard the first time, you can't blame him.

He wasn't capable of stop what Leonard was doing, he was being embarrassed worse than AJ was. Some would say SRL completely outboxed Duran, so how is that not worse than what happened to AJ?

Duran wasn't hurt or anything he just legit quit from being made a fool of.
