AJ suffered a panic attack before the fight according to his father

I believe this. I've been saying he can't handle the world stage. That's why he never wanted to fight here. Lennox Lewis couldn't figure out why AJ didn't want to fight in America. It's because he's comfortable being a big fish in a small pond. The UK was watching his fight against Klitschko. The whole world was watching his fight against Ruiz because it was his US debut & it was being held in NY at the Mecca of boxing. If AJ can't handle Wilder confronting him in the ring he really can't handle the pressure of being on the world stage

Wow. This no joke. Panic attacks are serious.

This just further cements my opinion that Hearn as AJ promoter and Hearn as DAZN investor/employee is an incredible conflict of interest that in the long run could be very detrimental. Ruiz could've seriously injured AJ.

If this happens again they need to cancel the fight immediately.

      This is unconscionable.

Oh my God. Every excuse in the world is coming out.

Next we’re gonna hear how AJ was uncomfortable with his locker room.

Wow if true. Not Eddie's fault though. AJ is his own man and made that choice to go into the ring. Blaming Eddie is pathetic.

So for those saying he didn't look right days leading up to the fight he was probably doped up on Valium or Bars.

This actually makes perfect sense, that ring walk was absolutely delayed but I just wrote it off to his AJ teams antics. AJ looked extra sluggish in there. The nerves sapped him of all his energy, thats why my man couldn't recover after getting dropped.

If thats the case then thats probably why he went for the kill in the third and got caught

I would believe it. He acted very strange. Especially after he got knocked out he seemed pretty content that the fight was just over and didnt seem like he gave a ****. Its not how most fighters act aver a loss.

I dont think its an excuse, atleast not a valid one. Boxing is a chess game, the mental aspect is huge, if hes saying he was mentally shook right before the fight, that isnt any different to me than saying my cardio ****** and I didnt have the stamina to compete.
