The keys to the victory of Andy Ruiz

Speed, explosivity, timing, creative counter punches, heart and chin.

People is talking too much about excuses, or other things, but the reality is that Andy did a great job.

He won the first two rounds and Joshua looked confused and worried about the hand speed of Andy, when Joshua landed big shots, Andy was ready to counter him with combos.

Andy showed a lot of heart when Joshua knocked down him, then, Andy landed sick combos in the exchange, like Juan Manuel Marquez, Andy was able to recover of those big shots and he neutralized the damage.

In the fight, Joshua landed monster left hooks and big right hands and Andy took all his power.

Andy showed more determination in round 5 and 6, in the end of the round 6, Andy landed a left jab to the head of Anthony, opening a space in the stomach, and then he landed a big right hand to the body that hurted Joshua.

In the round 7, Joshua landed a big right hand, Andy's answer was too good: fast combinations and the fight was over... Anthony was hurted and the fight was over.

His defence impressed me, AJ struggled to land for most of the night, Ruiz read his attacks and showed good head movement.
