Yep, he is definitely under 30 years old. Am not shocked at all by this outcome, even in the povetkin fight, you see the signs.

He needs a lot of work slowly, and having those belts hinders those slow buildings.

If he doesn’t take the rematch, I doubt he’ll ever be able to get those belts back in the next 3years. Those belts will end up with Fury or Wilder.

I believe he can beat Ruiz if he’s 100% and can replicate what he did against Parker. He wanted to go in there and knock him out early despite not being fit and it backfired. Same thing happened when he decided to **** toe to toe with Wlad.

He needs to get those belts back and keep the IBF and WBA (and IBO). But vacate the WBO because I don’t think he can beat Usyk and start fighting 3 times a year against people tailormade for him until he gets there.

Maybe you are right. And i genuinely believe Usyk beats them all if he can steady himself at HW for at least two fights.

Parker vs Ruiz was not a "horrible" robbery.

I scored it a draw, but had no issues with Parker getting the decision, it was a very close fight.

I'm sorry but people knew his Jaw was already questionable, have for years. Now that they saw he outright just said "I'm done" while a reigning champ means EVERYONE is coming with no fear. Ruiz isn't close to the hardest puncher in the division and he beat his azz..what's the old saying "sometimes you win by just showing a god bleeds" well we saw AJ bleed, do the hokey pokey dance, and say "I want to keep going" while his body said "No Mas"

Usyk is a different breed. But I’d like to see what his chin is like at heavyweight tho.

Ruiz has granite chin. I heard Saturday is the first time he has ever been dropped and he didn’t even look hurt. Most boxers would be doing stanky legs after that uppercut and left hook connected but he just dusted it off like nothing happened.

I don’t think he has that much time with where he’s now. He doesn’t have more than 10 fights left in him before he retires.

I agree.

As much as AJ fans like to brag about how much he's accomplished relative to Wilder and Fury at similar points in their careers, I think he could have benefited from a bit of extra seasoning with some Journeyman and Cab drivers to build up that in ring experience. It's pretty evident to me it's not quite all there for him yet.

Either you have it or you don't. AJ proved he has something. He proved it vs Wlad, Whyte, Parker, etc. But he simply had too much at once.

Too much being: Pressure, debut in America, week notice opponent who probably happened to be his best opponent outside of Wlad and Parker, shorter guy with faster hands and power.

I simply think he wasn't ready for all of this at once. Staying undefeated is not what will prove him. How he comes back vs Ruiz and/or after Ruiz is what will determine his career.
