I honestly didnt know who Ruiz was. Ruiz is a ligit fighter. AJ could come back and out box him. Not sure he will. He has occasionally had an “oh ****” look on his face that made me think hes maybe not experienced enough.
I do know if Emanuel Stewart was still around he’d make him another Lenix Lewis. Wilder and Fury are real fighters wether u like them or not. Ruiz could give Wilder the same type of problems as AJ.

AJ had two sparring rings in Miami and says he tends to use the smaller one and focuses on toe to toe close inside fighting. Why stick on the inside when your feet are quicker and range longer?

He said he ducks lower for shorter fighters. Why nullify your strengths? Stand tall, use your range, make them work and come to you.

Pretty obvious basic foundations, how is his team not training that? Add to this, his head movement is at times further inviting getting hit.
Yea I would have to agree, a lot of issues with Joshua were long term and nothing has changed for the better. You can put it on the trainers or whoever but Joshua would have to want to change things.

Carrying so much muscle for example makes it impossible to be fluid in the rings and makes movements clunky even if he knows what to do technically not to mention the drain on stamina.

When a guy is on top of the world it is certainly hard to really make changes, but if a guy is not getting better they are getting worse. Joshua was pretty clearly not getting better, which is easy to look at in hindsight but it is not like things were not brought up like you said numerous times.

Pick one, he wasn't ranked in the Top 10 in any of them.

Anyone with a grain of sense knows the ABC organisation rankings are total garbage and would never be used to cite if a fighter is in the Top 10 or not.

Ruiz wasn't Top 10 HW in the world when he battered AJ. That's a fact.

Not ranked in the Top 10 and a 40-1 underdog.

              So shut the fuck up.
Found one. Bad Left Hook Boxing Ranking, if that site means anything to you, had him as #10 week prior to the title match.

IBO, which calculates rankings based on a mathematical algorithm had him at #11, so pretty close to the top 10 below the champ (i.e. #12 as an independent ranking).

              He was #14 in boxrec.

Premierboxing, which is based on a 'who beat who' ranking system, had him as #19, and with a 2-1 score against top 50 heavyweights (i.e. beating two and losing to one boxer they had ranked in their top 50 when they fought), which is not much to brag about. At #19 he was ranked next to fighters like Robert Helenius and Joe Joyce, who are fringe contenders (good European level).

While not in the top 10, one could claim that Ruiz was in the second category of fringe contenders, perhaps somewhere in the top 15, and certainly within the top 20.

The worst thing any fighter can do, after a loss is change trainers 'Most of the time this is the beginning of the end for them' Joshua trainer is fine, and his whole team are fine. He just quite simply was beaten, but? I believe he will win the rematch. You don't have to be Nostradamus to see that Joshua has the ability and skills to beat Andy Ruiz Junior 'They can both beat each other, but I feel that Joshua will just fight a perfect fight next time and stop Ruiz Junior' Jab,movement, body shots 'I want to see some body shots'.
