That's why there is a distinction made in the first place.

The lineal title is a true world championship, not a paper title handed out on political terms by a sanctioning body just trying to make a buck.

Any way you cut it, Tyson's destruction of Holmes was a good win - and probably better than Joshua's win over Wlad considering the following

• Holmes is higher regarded than Wlad
• NOBODY had ever man-handled Holmes in the fashion Tyson did
• Holmes had a good run post Tyson
• Wlad had been KO'ed before
• Joshua Wlad was a competitive fight - Tyson Holmes was NOT
