  • This is what Hearn gets for trying so hard to "please the fans". No way in hell Ruiz should've been selected if their goal was to elevate AJ's career in the US. That big fat fool (Miller) messed up the money for eeeeverybody.

And there's no guarantee AJ would've fought Wilder any time soon, even if he beat Ruiz this past weekend. Now, Eddie's gonna throw Ruiz a bunch of money to come to the UK and hopefully AJ wins the rematch.

If he happens to win the rematch then it's safe to say those 4 title belts will STAY in the UK forever. Moreover, NY are just all around deplorable...booing and such. They aren't happy unless a guy's organs are hanging out and his face is a bloody mask during a fight. They don't deserve half of the big fights they get. Screw them!

Add another wrinkle to your analysis:

The IBF, from what I've read, may insist that Ruiz fights Pulev for their strap immediately. If that's the case, then there goes the unified title match out the window. As there's a diminished profit margin (From the organizations perspective) when there's a unified champ holding all the belts, instead of a diff. Champ holding their own version of a belt.

Something else I read: Wilder's trainer stated that they offered up Ruiz to Wilder for a match years ago, but Wilder declined. Because he knew all about Ruiz, and that he's no joke to fight, in spite of his physical appearance. Apparently, Hearn and AJ didn't get the memo.
If Wilder catch Ruiz with his bomb, Ruiz is out instantly....remember Buster Douglas history....a giant v.s Tyson, a little cat v.s Holyfield....Ruiz is going to be the same....but, Ruiz have Joshua's number, the direct rematch is going to be bad to Joshua...

I'm not even from the UK, just try and keep in touch with reality.
Wilder and Fury are class apart....independently the cards, they fight to die, not quit...Joshua was only a protected guy...and he was exposed by Ruiz....simply

You seem to talk more about other posters and make wild generalisations along with it.
            Seems odd.
Joshua and Wilder both pay the price for milking the potential match up, both have been full of crap talking this and that while they were both actively milking it.

Saturday was a great night of boxing. Ruiz was class, a brilliant win and great story, the Taylor vs Persoon fight was great in spite of the result going the wrong way.

            • You beat me to it haha. JOHN SKIPPER offered that money..Not Hearn...Not Joshua...

Fact of the matter is, these Joshua STANS are not real boxing fans. They ride on the coat tails of the hottest thing going.

Quite frankly, anybody who knows boxing knew that Ruiz had a chance to win that fight. Anybody who knows boxing knows that on any given fight night, especially in the HW division, somebody can go night-night. The mere fact that AJ's chin has been exposed as being comparable to Amir Khan's is what everybody needs to be taking away from Saturday's fight. i do fully expect money to get thrown at Wilder now though, specifically from John Skipper.

Lastly....for the people worrying about Wilder's pockets and the big money fights, blah blah blah....People thought the same thing about Pacquiao/Mayweather after Pac got Slept...and they still went on to make a massive payday out of it...Only difference is....There were nowhere near as many *****s in May or Pacs armor as there are in Joshua's.

FACT: Wilder DID offer AJ $50m
FACT: rejecting that $50m bit AJ in the ass, simple as that LMAO

it is funny how you see Wilder as the loser, when it was AJ who got wrecked..... he aint making any more 90k-at-wembley paydays son

now that Wilder is the premier heavyweight..... and what I mean by the premier heavyweight is, Wilder did not get WRECKED yesterday by a fat Mexican kid..... DAZN will probably offer him more than $100

they will probably invest the money in Wilder that they were willing to invest in AJ

wouldn't that throw a truckload of sand up your v@gina

With a name like reverb you would think you would listen back at the shh u said. AJ was the TRUE certified “milker” while Wilder fight Ortiz and Fury back to back, he gets the fly Breazeale out the way, then go back into the fire again fighting them both back to back for the second time. The way fury is marveled as the best, if Wilder does get him out of there, “officially”, next time. Then people will make up numerous excuses again. Wilder didn’t accept something he felt he was worth more than. Can’t be mad at that. I mean Dillian Whyte didn’t even want the offer, let that sink in. He REALLY feels he could beat Joshua this time around and he didn’t take that offer. Ruiz was in a win win, and gamble for the ultimate of life changing prizes he claimed past Saturday.

Only seem like the non-fighter-haters and people with a brain see pass the Hearn world.

                  • If Wilder didn't care about the money, he would have accepted the DAZN deal.

I mean, it's not rocket science.

Both sides were dragging their feet on making AJ vs Wilder. Wilder's side out of ego (I think he can't handle being the B-side), AJ's side out of monetary reasons. That, or they planned to make it a huge fight down the line.

Either way, the FAT BOYZ run boxing.

                    • Wilder is the fraud. At least AJ went out on his shield, ducking Wilder has been avoiding Dillian Whyte for nearly 2 years and only fought 2 top 10 fighters in four years. Ortiz is an old man that gets KOed in 2, maybe 3 and that's the only reason Wilder is fighting him. Wilder is a fake.
