Glad Ruiz won by stoppage because the judges were favoring Joshua. Joshua was supposed to win but he ran up against a man with a lot of heart. If they rematch I would advise Joshua to try and end it early before he runs out of gas otherwise, same result.

Correction - he took four dives.
Except what you’re saying is nonsense.

Complete and utter bollocks, but oddly, Joshua does come out of it pretty well IF (big if) he wins the rematch:

              - solves the 'who next?' problem
              - creates a huge fight/payday in the UK for the rematch (which Ruiz will get a good chunk of now, good for him)
              - gets all his belts back (assuming the IF......)
              - everyone suddenly wants to fight Joshua and willing to to take lower purses as they think he's there for the taking (which he might be unless he can pull a Lewis/Rahman comeback)

Future looks uncertain for Joshua though, is it a Lennox type future or a Bruno one ? He needs to get his head back in the game if he wants the better outcome...lots of people with lots of doubts right now.

Those are some very interesting comments. 100% correct and accurate though. AJ had no idea what he got himself into.

If you were taking a dive you wouldn't be getting hit in the damn head 30 times with power shots, get up 4 times off the canvas, you would just stay down, Bruce Seldon style. Your post is complete made up conspiracy garbage. Joshua got caught being reckless, plain and simple. Why the hell would you risk permanent damage with big power punches.... I hope you don't actually believe this nonsense.

I see this as a Hasim Rahman vs. Lewis kind of win. Joshua will come back and kick his ass, but for now, you've got to hand it to Ruiz and let him enjoy this moment.

Hard to defend your fighter when he doesn’t even want to defend himself. I’ve never seen a “champion” so graciously give up his titles... hell he gave them up in the weigh in before the fight. He’s celebrating with Ruiz’s corner. Just strange behavior. I’ve been saying this for years man AJ doesn’t want to be champ.
