I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on what you think Vegas will set this line at.

It can't be favored for Ruiz can it?

I would love for Ruiz to take it to Mexico City, seeing as he's been ****ing the Mexican drum, Mexican blood etc etc. Big fights don't have to be in Vegas. Imagine the atmosphere in the Azteca stadium, 90k fans, Mexico City. Same if not better than AJ's Wembley Stadium fights.

      Between 4:1 and 6:1 Joshua (Joshua -600).

For all the acclaim he's getting now, from what I was able to see in the highlights, we kinda know the parameters of the fight.

If Joshua keeps it long, he'll rake Ruiz with those long sharp shot for however his body can withstand it; if Joshua goes inside, you've basically got dueling pistols, with Ruiz's handspeed giving him the chance to land something hard inside an exchange.

Ruiz basically has 1 or 2 ways to win; Joshua has a bunch.

Joshua will be the betting favourite, at least the opening odds will say that. Betting dictates how the odds change, so i could see a lot of money being lumped on Ruiz and him maybe becoming the betting favourite close to the fight.

Having watched that last night, i personally see a similar fight if Ruiz is motivated as much to win a second fight.

If its 4:1 or especially 6:1 Joshua its definitely worth putting some money on Ruiz.

It was such a massive ass whipping I think it has to be even-ish (from -2000, +1100 last time) to a virtual pickem with maybe Ruiz being a slight favorite feeling more likely than Joshua being a slight favorite.

I think a more logical line would be Ruiz as a more solid favorite after what happened last night, but who people are willing to put money on is gonna dictate the line too & Joshua isn't going to lose too much popularity off of this L so its not a true representation of the real chance of either guy to win its about what makes sense for the casino & their risk tolerance.

No chance its that wide. Casinos aren't gonna make a guy who clubber'd Joshua like he did last night a +300ish dog which is what the other side of those odds would be around.

Joshua had no answers last night. You aren't making a guy who didn't have no answers a 80%-85% favorite in a rematch.

At best I think its -200 Joshua & I suspect its much much more likely we are looking at a -120 Ruiz, +100 Joshua or vice versa kinda line. Maybe up to -150, +120 either way.
