I was actually pissed off when I saw Ruiz at the weigh in, I thought he was disrespecting the sport and the chance he was given to win the heavyweight championship of the world by coming in looking like Jabba the Hutt. I rooted for AJ to rout him quite early, man oh man, don't judge a book by its covers. But with that said, I still think that his physique is a disgrace to the sport and he won't last looking like that.

Lots of fat guys have good handspeed, they have power and stable feet and they are also strong from carrying the weight, they generally dont have wind unless trained anaerobically.

Dont underestimate a guy just because he is fat, a lot are genetic fat and all the work in the world wont change that.

AJ is not very good , none of the HWs are so there is a lot more latitude in who can win a title.
