The problem is that if are not an AJ fan automatically makes you a Wilder fan.

I wanted both guys to meet in the ring undefeated but now that mega fight has been watered down

      Great question!!!

Exactly this! Seems that the posters who were grinding Wilder into the ground are all now on some "why can't we be friends, kumbaya, don't be a meanie and make fun of the loser" type stuff.

Fans, especially the more vocal ones who talk a lot of mess, should just be humbled and take their lumps when it comes to situations like this. It's simply poetic justice.
lol hilarious. I've noticed a couple of usernames have been missing from this forum lately. The same guys that damn near live on this site are in deep hibernation it seems.

Fans will be less hyped. It is that simple

Nah, if AJ comes back impressive with 2KOs and Wilder takes out Ortiz and Fury (big Ifs), you cant tell me you wont be hyped knowing they are both vulnerable and you wont be able to look away for a second? Now AJ has fights lined up and work to do while Wilder handles his buisness. They can hype this fight back up and even if they both have Ls on their record, I'll always wanna see it

The UK fans flooded this forum with duck memes , name calling and even started trashing U.S fans ( who they presumed we're all Wilder fans ) .
It happened with Pacquiaos fans , GGG fans then the hate found it's way to the AJ crowd .

The Wilder fans were pretty bad too . And I'm from the U.S so there is a touch of bias but calling guys ducks , coward , scared , Beyonce and crap like that ...
Yeah, and wilder himself and his fans being happy about AJ losing shows how much they wanted this megafight.

AJ losing and being himself a poor boxer doesn't make wilder more brave or his moronic fanbaase look smarter.

Just because Ruiz knock out Jousha doesn’t mean Wilder would have done it . Jousha could have knocked out Wilder because Wilder does come in Wild like which can get you caught. So now we will never know because this fight is dead on arrival

I'm a fan of both, its possible but just not on this site. I think they can build the fight back up again . I personally don't care that they had to be undefeated to be hyped for the fight

Both fan bases would have reacted the same I agree......

Laced is a straight shooter though, he is always magnanimous in praise to the opposition when his fighters take an L. I distinctly remember this from Brook vs Spence.

As an AJ fan (I'd like to think I'm a mature one), I could care less about the usual fan boy bickering. I'm just disappointed about the big fights we lost due to the business side of things causing delays. Joshua-Wilder was the fight to be made and we didn't get it and I don't know that we ever will and even if we do its not the same.

Credit to Andy Ruiz and he is a damn good fighter and person but I would have preferred for Joshua to take his L in a super fight against Wilder or Fury.
