No he is not a great athlete he is a body builder who was exposed his career is over 2020 he has another loss on his record.

I hope Ruiz goes for unification with the real King Wilder.

Imagine that was wilder dropping bombs it would be over 3rd round. AJ has no boxing skills

Is being good at an nfl combine style event the best definition of being a good athlete? That’s my take.

Motivated Lennox beats them all with a jab

Vitali gives them a complete beat down

Josh is a great athlete, he could run 100 metres in 11 seconds ish.
Josh beat wla d a very accomplished champ. I don't know what elite means.
So your as good as your best win. Josh best win as good as a 40 year old wlad..And wilder is as good as a 40 year old ortiz.

What did Wilder do? He didn't give up. He fought back!

AJ didn't know what to do except wait for a towel to be thrown in.
If I remember well, Wilder was saved by the gong.

Maybe he is not, but neither are Wilder and Fury. I think their losses will come soon.

                  Bit savage here...but 100% true!

Joshua is a bodybuilder gym rat / robot boxer.

Wilder is a ****** ****er boxer.

Both are athletes NOT pure boxers.

In the modern HW era, you can get away with pure athleticism.

I don’t think anyone with boxing knowledge thought he was some great or elite talent. They just thought he would have enough to beat Ruiz.

We can all slate AJ now, but he had beaten solid fighters like Parker, Povetkin, an aged Wlad etc.. so there was really no reason to suggest he would lose to Ruiz.

I think most honest and knowledgable people know he’s never going to have the skills of someone like Fury, but he was explosive and strong enough to get by in todays HW game.

I’ve never thought he could beat Wilder or Fury but still thought he can get past guys like Ruiz. That’s not taken anything away from Ruiz, but his record never suggested he’s any better than some of AJ’s previous opponents.

Fury has said for years he's just a weight-lifter not a boxer.
