People act like Wilder won tonight. In fact Wilder lost, about $100M.

NO...people are trying to give Wilder a L tonight as well which is Laughable!

Wilder did not lose tonight, AJ did! Wilder will still make his money, he still has the Fury Rematch which is a HUGE FIGHT. He also now has Ruiz who is with PBC/AL Haymon! So stop trying to Lump Wilder in with AJ losing tonight you guys sound DESPERATE

Wilder do need to focus 100% on Ortiz and not look forward. They're all overrated (by their hardcore fans) and beatable!

Boxing as a whole took the L around September of last year when the negotiations first fell through. That was primarily Eddie's fault. That's what you get when you try and forge a narrative and make plans in a sport that's as potentially unpredictable as this. I hope this serves as a lesson for promoters everywhere both now and in the future that you strike when the iron is hot because letting fights "marinate" is a recipe for disaster (which is a lesson that'll keep getting repeated so long as promoters refuse to hear the message and let their greed run out of control.)

Of course, trying to pass this off as a loss for Wilder is disingenuous. Both guys lost that big payday, not just Wilder, and Wilder's the one coming off of a highlight reel KO-of-the-year contender and not the one coming off of a huge and humiliating upset loss with his aura of dominance broken and his career potentially in tatters.

For once be honest, at least to yourself.

Who cared about Deontay Wilder before Anthony Joshua came to the scene? Nobody. He got some popularity thanks to Joshua and Fury, but without them? Yikes. And even now he can barely sell tickets, his last fight vs Breazeale was a massive flop.

            OK?

That still doesn't change the fact that HE is the not the one that lost to Andy Ruiz. As long as Wilder keeps winning he is going to make his money and the same goes for Fury. AJ will continue to make big money as well. They will be fine!

And what I said is that Wilder lost the opportunity to be the first man to beat AJ in a MASSIVE fight, a fight that the fans wanted to see and to become the undisputed Heavyweight champion and a huge star.

Now that ship has sailed. IBF will call for a mandatory and who knows what happens with all the belts and the Ruiz AJ rematch.

Wilder has handled his business, it was Joshua who shat the bed tonight~

Sure Wilder probably lost money but he is not hurting at all and still has money to earn so I am not worried about his wage earning potential.

I know on YouTube, a lot of guys commenting on boxing videos don't understand the difference between LOST and LOSS, but just in case some of those guys have made their way over to NSB, may I explain.

When you can't find your way home, you might be Lost. If you got knocked out yesterday, you Lost yesterday.
You might be sad because of a Loss in the family. If you get knocked out, a Loss goes on your record.

It's Wins and Losses... NOT Wins and Losts

                  Peace

The big 3 HWs all lost tonight. *** AJ, Wilder, and Fury and their scam to bleed the fans.
How the hell is Fury a scam artist?

He went to Germany & USA as the B side

Guy is a religious nutter but by far the most honourable as he’s actually true to his word

Fury is a ***ing PED cheat and all his religious talk is hypocrisy as he was out on a bender while his wife was about to give birth, and then went on coke binges after the kid was born. He's a trash human being, which is why I'm no longer a fan of his even though I used to watch all of his fights before anyone in the US was talking about him.

I gave him BIG respect for Fighting Wilder. But, then bailing on the rematch was part of the big scam the 3 top HWs have been pulling. You're blind if you can't see it. The all use each other's names to build hype but would not fight each other. Well, the wall is broken and now there's been a shake up. Thank god.
