Also that's more AJ specifically than boxing in the UK as a whole. How come Fury isn't pulling those insane numbers in his home country?
This whole thing has been done a million times.

You are popular & good & are fighting the top guys.

You start losing vs the better guys. You are still popular doe. And you start fighting lesser guys in lesser fights.

You start to lose to or struggle with those lower level guys. And we start matching you up with novelty level guys or take the show on the road.

Watch the career trajectory of Mike Tyson & Muhammad Ali basically & you'll see the blueprint for how to move Joshua as he ages/gets beat to keep securing the bag at multiple levels of popularity in the game. Granted Joshua isn't on Tyson's or Ali's level quite yet & based on last night likely will never reach that level, but its still the basic blueprint of how to maximize your moves in this game.

Joshua was seen as #1 in the world and had previously taken on Povetkin, Takam, Klitschko, Parker, Whyte, etc

You can’t complain about the matchmaking when AJ team agrees to it and secondly wanted as tough opposition as possible, remember that Ortiz who was considered far harder challenge was the initially lined up replacement

I'm seeing the wackiest excuses. Like guys are just throwing shyt at the wall. AJ didn't have time. He can't fight at the mid-range. He stood tall when he should have crouched. He must have got sick/drunk/poisoned the night before. Short guys trouble him. Before the fight, AJ "has everything you could want in a HW champ". After the fight, "the deck was stacked against him."

I've changed my sig 4 or 5 times since last night. I've never seen a fight produce so many good pics and quotes. Don't even need photoshopping, they're beautiful just the way they are.

Just think in the future some up & coming boxer is gonna get this tatted on his chest like that one cat gots Manny & JMM tatted on his chest. Hopefully they line up Ruiz's belly button with their nipple instead of Ruiz's **** or Joshua's ass hole doe.

AJ will still pull in a crowd should he continue if he loses the rematch.

Oh of course. No one is pulling in that amount of people like AJ is doing. It's not often boxing has a fighter with that kind of pull.

Fury just doesn't sell. But we do have a good handful of fighters that sell lots of tickets. Every show without AJ does well to a certain point. But it's like anywhere. You have some fighters that sell more than others.

So Hearns should have continued to let joshua fight bums? Great advice.
