    Really?

What does that make Nate Tubbs?

He was a fringe contender. End of story.

Stick to golfing, Mr. Sanders.
also sounds like a few people on here get all upset when something positive is said about a white fighter

any fighter can be stopped on any given night. lewis was stopped by lesser fighters on 2 occasions. sanders had his flaws but his offense was brutal

sanders was stopped after dropping rahman twice and was ahead on all cards before running out of gas due to his awful stamina which I mentioned. he didnt take the sport seriously and was more of a part time fighter which is why he was never more than a top 20 guy through most of his career

And was almost knocked out of the ring by him.
And note, IF you've seen the fight, Sanders wasn't knocked senseless by one punch, and finished the fight on his feet after having Rahman in serious trouble several times. Your post gives the impression that Sanders was steamrolled by the same guy that steamrolled Lewis, that wasn't exactly the case.

So he's just like Lewis, without that postive wins.

                Great logic champ.

Thing about Sanders was he had bad stamina, even when he was more active. He was good, fast hands and a punch. The reason why he was underrated was because HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING! He fought Wlad ONLY because 11 people turned down the opportunity. If someone else took that fight, most people wouldnt even know who he was. I guess he could've been something more than what he was IF he put more into boxing, but thats a big if. Some people exaggerate. But just to let people like Bozo and Diego know, just because you think Sanders was a good fighter doesnt mean you're a Wladimir butt licker. Anytime a thread about Sanders comes up the Klitscko police come chargin in.

Sanders is sort of a lost talent. Shame he never took the sport seriously, but that's what happens when you have a guy with great athleticism who's making as much $$$$ playing golf as boxing. No doubt he'd be a better golfer had he not boxed, but he did it his way, regardless.

Average fighter. Good Power and a great golfer. That pretty much sums up Corrie Sanders. Had he concentrated on boxing more maybe he could have been great. People will always find negative things to say about white heavyweights anyways...
