A recap for those (like me) who couldn't catch it last night.

Damn good fight - in fact, dare I say it, perhaps the most competitive and entertaining fight of the evening. Persoon should have got the nod.

Compubox stats (total and power) support 96-94 to Taylor so can't be considered poor decision. But Persoon won the last 4 rounds more decisively than Taylor the previous 6.

Terrible fight, this was exactly why no one watches womens boxing. It was straight up garbage no skill from both sides.

That's the thing; Katie Taylor is actually a very skilled boxer.

She just allowed herself to get into a dogfight with Persoon who probably did enough to win it; though her tactics were pretty disgusting... lead with the elbow so many times, was rabbit punching, holding Taylors head/arms and smashing her in the face, punching after the bell and after being told to break and step back.

Was a terrible fight for the purist but honestly was the most enthralling fight of the night.

Rip off...if Andy Ruiz hadn't knocked down Joshua four times, he too would've lost...

It's funny watching kids go into meltdown over things they don't understand.

Persson came on strong at the end. Her size, steroids and experience came through for her. But there was nothing wrong with the decision. Judges are there to score rounds, not "surges" or "strong finishes" or whatever the **** people are bytching about.

Based on the ridiculousness of Boxing decisions (Fury-Wilder, GGG-Canelo TWICE, Kovalev-Ward, Frampton-Santa Cruz II) this is especially mild. Fights WILL BE competitive. There's a set limit of rounds. It's been almost a hundreds years since fighters fought until someone quit. It needs to be accepted that close fights will happen. That doesn't a robbery make.

I thought Persoon won. Didn't score it but it felt about 7 rounds to 3 or 6-4. Persoon wasnt as skilled but her mailing style was more effective and Taylor looked gassed and hurt towards the end.

There was a good reason the Brits did not boo when Delfine Persoon was robbed. Persoon is not a Brit. She is from Belgium. BTW neither is Katie Taylor. She is from the Irish Republic.

DAZN made its American debut a year ago. I have been watching good fights on DAZN for a while. I think you have confused DAZN with some other entity.
