I think Pacquiao is an idiot for even releasing a statement that he can beat Diaz. I'm not saying he couldn't but it's just not right to say **** like that just because Diaz beat up a fellow Filipino fighter. On the other hand, I think the Philippine media just baited Pacquiao into releasing his statement.
let's blame the internet. w/o it, this news would be for philippine consumption only
he could've been baited, can't imagine him giving opinions out of the blue w/o being asked.
I have lost so much respect for Morales in the past year it's not even funny. He went from being in my top 5 favorite boxers in the sport to one I can't even support anymore with his attitude. I didn't care that he was beat by Barrera in the trilogy. He fought a dumb fight, plus he caught a bad break when his nose was smashed in the 2nd round. I picked Pacquiao to beat him and pulled for Pacquiao in the first fight, but when Morales won I held him in such high regards. But since getting his ass kicked by Pacquiao, Morales has become one of the biggest *******s in the sport. He was always a sore loser before, but now he's just a sour g****.
I tried to add this like an hour ago before the site crashed like it does every couple hours:
I almost forgot to mention Morales saying he lost to Raheem because Raheem wouldn't stand and fight...as if every boxer is supposed to stand and trade punches with you, lol. Why is it that when highly respected boxers lose, they make up the most ridiculous rationalizations. Like Hopkins after the first Taylor fight for instance when he said he did more damage so he won the fight. Larry Merchant was like, "well, according to the Marquis of Queensberry rules, whoever wins the most rounds wins the fight" and Hopkins' response was, "not really, Larry"
LOL at Hopkins not knowing the rules of boxing after going undefeated for 12 years.

More evidence of what a trolling ignorant little twat you are.
Hopkins felt he won that fight because it was very close in terms of rounds scord.
Add in the embarassing blunder with one judge giving the 12th to Taylor, and he has every reason to think what he does.
i think that 135 is as high as manny can go and still be the effective fighter that he is right now.
this article has got me thinkin' that maybe all the success and fame is starting to give manny a little too much confidence. hopefully he doesnt get sloppy.

I agree. Manny needs to keep a cool head and keep his ass in the gym as evidenced by his fight with Larios.
