Don’t get it wrong. I’m laughing hysterically at little pumpkin ****e latte snowflakes. I should probably be more gentle with them because ya know it may melt away their little sensitive psycheComment

Ortiz is right. Ruiz is a good boxer. Far more proven than Miller was.
He is also getting KO'd, but I agree it will not be in 4 rounds. Maybe less if Joshua pushes him and forces Ruiz to exert more energy, maybe rounds 7-9 if Joshua picks his spot. But not four.Comment

Jeepers
Get the beers in and get a decent stream lined up for later
Not a chance I’m gonna make it . 8 cans in a dipping
Wish the fight was in the London

Far too many inaccuracies.
"But the decision has paid off for Ortiz, who earlier this week had finalized a rematch with WBC champ Deontay Wilder for later this year."
1) It didn't pay off, Ortiz is not getting close to 7 million to fight Wilder.
2) Eddie Hearn thought Ortiz might need more time but the Otiz camp that said Luis was ready, "Make us an offer." Preparation time was never mentioned as the reason for turning down the Joshua fight.
3) The excuse for turning down Joshua was that it was a low ball offer. The offer turned out to be fourteen times what Ortiz made to fight Wilder and significantly more than the Wilder II rematch.
What good is a beautifully written story if the facts are all off?Last edited by factsarenice; 06-01-2019, 06:52 PM.Comment

The reason, straight from Ortiz's camp...MONEY and only MONEY. They insisted Hearn made a "low ball offer" right up until the low ball offer was revealed to be a multi-million dollar career high payday. There was NEVER mention of a short training camp. As a matter of fact, Eddie Hearn was the only guy concerned and it was the Ortiz camp that said, "Luis will be ready...make us an offer"...
After it was discoved that the offer was for 7 million the Ortiz camp stated that Ortiz camp management made a rookie mistake but never once mentioned short notice.
Recently it was announced that Ortiz had already agreed to rematch Wilder prior to Eddie's offer and that's when the pieces came together.
That is the time line, that's the way it went.
Frankly, the legacy excuse is laughable nonsense that started with a fan follower on twitter.
You honestly going to fault a fighter for not taking a fight on short notice? Think about it, he had Wilder doing the stanking leg! He was that close to being a champ. Why would he short himself by taking a fight with insufficient training? Please don't say 7M, money is not everything to everyone. Legacy lives on forever.

From one boxing fan to another, would you prefer Ortiz with a full camp or short notice fight with AJ? Honest answer.Comment
