This is the second thread I've seen about how NOT bad this fight/fighter Rolls is.

It seems like there is some spin attempt going on here.

What did Canelo get paid for fighting a 100to 1 underdog in fielding 35 million.

That was a **** fight but Canelo also took that fight a mere 3 months after the GGG fight. Canelo was back sparring weeks after his GGG fight as GGG was incapable of causing any significant damage, while Canelo busted in GGG's face and made him look pathetic, pleading that he "won" the fight while wearing a busted ass face, eyes half swollen shut and bruised all over.

Canelo then heroically fought Jacobs in his next fight, a fighter GGG needed a gift win to get by.


Canelo could have waited 9 months out to fight an uber driver like Steve Rolls but instead he fought Fielding AND Jacobs within 8 months.
