    How is Ruiz 268?

How did Andy Ruiz have a camp, weigh in at 262, have a fight, go right back to camp and gain 6 pounds?

Can anyone explain this? I was expecting him to be in better shape.

He needed a full camp. He's naturally big. Started at 300 lbs.

Sometimes genetics isn't kind to people.

Realistically I think around 250 would have been ideal for him considering his build.

He said he wasn't looking to lose any weight for the AJ fight. There's a video where he explains it. Stop being lazy and go look at his interviews.

Ruiz doesn't look soft as he was usually.

Lean muscle weighs more then fat,if he did weight training on top of being overweight he could have actually added weight to himself which isn't bad but in this case he still needs longer then a few weeks to do footwork at a higher weight .

Hes going to tire out quickly as the rounds go by and taking AJ punches wont help.

my guess is ruiz is going to fight likea 3 round fight bc he knows he wont win if it goes past that.

        AJ by 4 rounds.

By genetics you mean how many calories he's consuming?

Matter and energy doesn't come from nowhere. Someone is fat because they are eating above their caloric needs.

Nobody gains weight without putting food in their mouth.

Sure. I see fat people and their fat kids and the kids had no chance.
I think it's on a deeper level than just eating. Like it's something mental going on too that he can't control that well even though he does work very hard in the fights he has.

Yeah, I second that. He and that poster who goes by the handle REDEEMER were predicting a Dominic Breazeale KO because they said that Wilder doesn't have a chin or can take a punch

Nobody can deny how sweet and utterly devastating that knockout was.

                  They were probably just shellshocked.

It still baffles me how a person can go through training camps and still look like that.

Your average fat person that looks like that are the slobs that never exercise in their life. But how can someone train in training camps and still look like that, their diet must be even worse than your average fat slob. It almost disgustingly impressive.
