BHop was one of my very top favorite fighters, so I'm not one to diminish his accomplishments, but Oscar was simply not a strong MW. The win they gave him over WBO Champ Felix Sturm (his only other MW fight) was super controversial. ODLH is a great name on Bernard's resumé, but he had much more impressive wins before and after Oscar.

100%, what kind of young lion even MENTIONS retirement before a big fight?

He has one foot out the door, he is headed to the broadcast booth after Manny taps that a$$...I think the whole world is going to be rooting against Thurman in this fight.

Thurman does have the ability to counter, with power, explosively, perhaps nobody Manny has seen has that type counter punching power, Thurman is much more of a danger to Manny than anyone since Mayweather, if he is right, if he is off, this is going to be a short night.

The point I was making was that Pacquiao has a good chance to beat Thurman, even at 40, because B-Hop was able to beat Oscar, IN A 158lb. CATCH-WEIGHT FIGHT, at 40 (39yrs, 247 days). B-Hop came in @ 156, and got the KO! Oscar was 31, Keith Thurman will be 31 in November! Great men do great things!

Its not that hard to look great against guys from 135-140 where one was totally shot and the other more hype than fight.

Thurman is a full blown WW and that alone will have a lot of impact, they are banking on Thurman being off like his last fight.

Ok, fair point about the ages, but I still think the comparison is off. Bernard was older like Pac is against Thurman, but Bernard had every other physical advantage against Oscar. PAC is older and smaller. Keith is going to hurt him. Btw, Bernard never had a problem making MW so he wasn’t really weakened by the catch weight.

If you hit any boxer in the world am or pro in the liver they will fold. So what's your point exactly?.

That Thurman has been hurt when hit in the body by far lesser opponents...

Manny Pacquiao will win by KO/TKO if Thurman wont be running around and will fight toe to toe.

Manny Pacquiao will win by UD if Thurman will decide to run around like a chicken.
