If Fury wanted 50/50:

1. He should’ve developed an interesting style that would make him a crowd puller like Josh.

2. He should not have taken PED thus getting himself banned for 2 yrs.

It’s the money as usual is the problem and AJ has been exposed as a Scrooge McDuck in negotiations while also a premeditated opportunist!

He played ring around the rosey with Wilder for 5 months in their initial negotiations and tried to offer a 60-40 fight to a Tyson Fury who was still 300 pounds without a date for a tune up!

The common denominator is Team AJ, give Wilder or Fury 50-50 with fair rematch clauses and co-network distribution rights and we’ll have a fight!

Oh and the other problem is that Team AJ is on an app and see no reason for PPV with huge guarantee purses while Team Wilder and Team Fury see’s PPV is the only way to go for a super heavyweight fight where they can gain more in the purses thru the backend!

The only thing stopping Joshua vs top-ranked opponents is the percentage splits. Hearn wants his side to make all the money from a fight while the opponent takes away a very small chunk of the prize. This may work well against lowly ranked opponents but will be a big hindrance to top-level fights.

I don't see Wilder settling for anything less than 50-50. Fury may agree somewhere near 45-50 and Dillian in the 30-35 range. Otherwise, it will be an endless show of Hearn saying, "he is ducking AJ", "She is ducking AJ", and we'll end up with another Andy Ruiz.

Hearn has offered Fury 40%. It's not the money being the problem, it's cowardice. They just use money as an excuse. That's a lot more than Fury could earn against Wilder but he still doesn't want it.

If everyone got on the case of Wilder and Fury about their ridiculous demands, the fights would actually happen. But Americans can't face up to Deontay being a b1tch so support his many crazy demands as though that's going to excuse the coward. AJ can fight on any network. Wilder is fighting Ortiz next. The next best fight to make in the HW division is Fury/AJ. AJ & Hearn should be looking to make that fight next. Yet they're still talking about Wilder.
