Also there was a time when 15-20 PPVs was normal. Not that long ago actually.
Idk about 15-20, but yea there were A LOT more PPV's not THAT long ago.

Fans are pretty ignorant about the whole PPV thing I feel like as a cat who used to dork out on PPV bs.

Here's a random PPV year for those curious:

    2005

March, Morales vs Pacquiao I, 340k buys

April, MAB vs Mzonke Fana, 70k buys

April, Margarito/SSM co headlining PPV, 220k buys

May, Tito vs Winky, 520k buys (Biggest PPV of the Year)

May, JCC vs Ivan Robinson, 100k buys

June, Tyson vs Kevin McBride, 250k buys

June, Floyd vs Gatti, 340k buys

July, Taylor vs Bhop I, 370k buys

Aug, Rahman vs Monte Barrett, 30k buys

Aug, Mercer vs Briggs, 10k buys

Oct, RJJ vs Tarver III, 400k buys

Oct, Chico vs Castillo II, 200k buys

Dec, Taylor vs Bhop II, 410k buys

And look the world didn't collapse in 2005

Well 2 of those probably wont be PPVs. All said and done I'll probably buy 3/4 other ones especially if the undercards are as solid as Pac-Thurman

I'll take the under on Garcia vs Garcia doing more than Wilder vs Fury. I think both these guys got a bit of a clown persona going on right now, like a higher level Broner, but maybe I'm just misreading that.

Errol probably shouldnt have said that Shawn cant even sell out a family dinner 😂even if it's true maybe it's most likely the reason Al Haymon pulled the plug on the fight being PPV
Agreed that was a dumb remark. Idk why people dog people in this sorta way. It doesn't help you. Dog the guy for more basic sh^t. Dogging mfers over how popular they are seems sorta gay first off, but counterproductive too as you bring up.

Hell, in 2015 there was what like 5-6 PPVs.
2017 there was also like 5-6.
Last year was 3 I believe.

Do you have a list? Been trying to compile a list of PPVS.

PPV isn't goin anywhere for a while. If they can get 250K-500K per outing they will be fine.

Damn I didn't realize it was that bad at one point.

And for the UFC point, they have to benefit of having a monopoly on the sport. If the PBC had the same they could have GGG, Canelo, Spence, Wilder, AJ, Fury, Crawford all on ppv in one year without people complaining on stacked cards.
