Since he doesn't suck like Joyce. Ajagba and Joyce coming up on their 3rd opponents for 2019 already.

I think the difference is there’s genuine belief that Hrgovic could be a future HW kingpin. So they want to ensure that they plan his route carefully and develop him properly.

Joyce on the other hand is being rushed due to age and also because stylistically its only a matter of time before he gets exposed. I feel the plan with Joyce has always been to rush him into a big fight ASAP and essentially cash out.

I could see that. More activity would still be good.

At 26 Hrgovic has some time. At 33 Joyce has very little time

Came here to say this. Joyce is aging quick, and I'm not convinced he was ever that good to begin with, watch him throw punches it looks like he's underwater -- slowest currently active heavyweight.

Joyce needs to keep winning against C-level guys and cash out with a fight against one of the top 3.

Can you imagine a Joyce/Fury fight? Joyce would look like he was made of stone.

No one moves as fast as Joyce.

They are desperate to get Joyce a shot at that WBA regular belt against Bryan or Charr. If they get that, they can sit on it until the WBA forces AJ to fight him, that's their ultimate goal, an AJ cash out

Joyce hasn’t exactly gone fast? Although he is 9-0 he was a Olympic medalist and is not exactly young!

Fighting no hopers like stiverne and Ustinov who are well past their prime and easy fights is no benefit. Jennings in my view is the same, a name without the risk.

In my opinion Jennings is acceptable but not exciting and I would like him to properly step up in the fight afterwards.

Hrgovic is much younger and as far as I’m aware didn’t have the same amateur background? I would guess it’s therefore more sensible to fight these slow old men that Joyce has been and get his record and reputation up for the next 12 months. By then though
I would similarly expect some sort of progressive path

                    I hope so....

Also, your Hrgovic on a Matchroom Italy card is a good idea.
