Unbeaten former bantamweight titlist Luis Nery has been confirmed as a participant on the stacked Pay-Per-View card at MGM Grand and now has an opponent for the event. Squaring off with the two-fisted knockout artist is fellow former bantamweight titlist Juan Carlos Payano, as two sources close to his camp have confirmed to BoxingScene.com his agreeing to terms for the fight which was offered less than a week ago.

Wow!!! Massacres Inoue?? Definitely don't see that happening but that fight will be a complete shootout. Nery has been dropped in the past and can get caught, but he's so good offensively. One of the absolute best fights in the sport by far.

So he’s milking the title and running to Bob after Haymon gave him a shot at the title against one of the most least dangerous guys in the division in Raushee Warren who’s been with Haymon for years and didn’t get robbed on the scores as well?

People talk lots of crap bout Haymon but he truly does look out for his fighters!

Oubaali wants Naoya for unification - I think he'll fight Takuma first only if he has to, so depends on the mandatory requirements/timing as to whether he has to or not.

If targeting Inoue (Naoya) is ducking Nery, thats a bit like ducking a pistol to take on a grenade launcher.
