As long as the promise of that fight is out there, TV companies are staying on board. They want it.
So they pay him big money for relatively easy work to keep hold of him. And the future fight keeps getting bigger. Ignore the sporting element and the chatter - you would probably do the same.
So I can understand it. I'm disappointed, but I can understand it.
And Ortiz isn't a bad fight, tbh.
But mate, we all get the marinating thing - this fight is way beyond marinated now. There is a ceiling to this stuff - it's not logical to just keep thinking that every time you put it off it gets bigger. This is the biggest duck ever, bigger than Bowe garbage can duck.
