Berchelt best win is Miura, Yamanaka and Dogboe were better than him

Miura or Vargas would be easy work to Nava, Nery or Leo

Leo is a more proven fighter than Berchelt too

As for Toney. He had piled on a lot of weight and was struggling to make the limit. That's why Roy went after him the way he never did for any of the other top fighters in his career. He knew Toney wasn't at his best.

Roy was a cherry picking drug cheat with a chin made of pure glass. We both know it's true. So you're right, Loma and Jones don't belong in the same sentence. Loma isn't a drug cheat and he wants to fight the very best. Unlike Jones.
        Exactly WHO has Lomafako beaten?

Not lomas fault tank wont fight him. If loma did fight tank and teofimo and destroyed them both critics will just say "well they were too young and not ready. Just like when Rigo was pound 4 pound and loma made him quit "well rigo was too old".

Loma will never get a fair shake or proper praise. And His skin color plays a giant factor in that.

he's arguably both the very best boxer on the planet and the best amateur boxer of all time.

            not too shabby.

i don't know if i believe that, dude. i think that if lomachenko was american and had a compelling personality that he'd be a "novelty" and a star similar to pacquiao. kind of a wolf in sheep's clothing, if you like.

there's a lot more going into it than skin color. he's tiny. really, really tiny. floyd was a robust WW with snap on his punches. lomachenko is a small lightweight in his 30's. people have trouble taking seriously a guy who is shorter and lighter than their girlfriends. notice how floyd wasn't really a crossover star until he beat oscar de la hoya at WW, and same with pacquiao?

              he speaks no english
his style is good on the eyes but sometimes he's so much better than his opponetns that he's boring when he's not knocking them around the ring.
and we didn't get to see him "grow up" on US soil and on TV in pro fights. he did it in the amateurs, which nobody but hardcore boxing people watch.

some guys just will never become stars and there's a lot that goes into the decision to invest into them. Arum's plan with lomachenko would have been to keep him active, racking up ttitles and moving up in weight, and then picking a spot to fight an aging star, like pacquiao, and seeing if he could take the W and cross over a little bit. but taht didn't pan out, he lost pacquiao.

lol why would even mention Garcia here? He is a bum. I could maybe understand bringing up Lopez and Haney, but Garcia? absolutely laughable

Are you trolling? 396-1 as an amateur, with gold medals in two weight classes. Three-division world champion as a pro in less than 14 fights. Name another fighter with those credentials in the history of the sport.
